Last week, Brownstoner offered a look at actual progress inside the Trader Joe’s site at Court Street and Atlantic Avenue. (We stuck our camera through the same hole for a shot.) Now, there’s a rumor on Brooklynian that TJ’s will be opening on September 28. Here’s the rumor:
For all those Trader Joe’s Junkies out there… I just talked with a soon-to-be employee for the TJ’s in Brooklyn who informed me that they are scheduled to open September 28th. I guess September 1 was the original date… but not suprisingly, that has been pushed back. I will be in line on opening day! I’m sick of hauling all my frozen stuff from Manhattan!

FWIW it’s listed on the TJs website as “coming soon”, which with the other NYC stores didn’t happen ’til they were fairly close.

Fact. However, I’m biased, as I wrote the original post on Brooklynian….
