A New Bakeshop in Brooklyn

If you’re ready to say “Yum!” then you’ll enjoy visiting the Red Ribbon Bakeshop, Inc., a renowned Filipino bakery. They just opened their first store in Brooklyn, New York, on January 27, 2024. This new outlet, situated at 5212 Kings Highway in Flatbush, is the bakery’s second establishment in New York City and the 39th in the United States. Red Ribbon has been a culinary icon for over 40 years, famed for its exquisite cakes such as the Mango Supreme Cake and Ube Overload Cake, as well as a variety of sweet and savory pastries suitable for daily indulgence. It’s a beautiful bakery with a long tradition and one that’s certainly worth enjoying.

This Brooklyn location offers a cozy café-style ambiance, with options for on-spot dining, take-out, and online orders through the Red Ribbon app and website. The store operates daily from 9 AM to 9 PM. Celebrating its grand opening, the first 30 customers received a year-long treat of free Butter Mamon or Cheesy Ensaimada weekly. The first 100 customers on the opening day and the first 50 on the following day received a free Assorted Sweet Pastry Bundle and a Red Ribbon Tote Bag for purchases over $50.

The bakery wants to introduce customers to Filipino baking and to the delicious foods they may not already know about. Red Ribbon Bakeshop envisions a place where cultures can interact and where people can feel comfortable popping in or staying around for a bit with a great creation.
