Summer Fun at the Movies for $1 Per Ticket

Will Rogers

This summer a trip to the movies for the family will once again be affordable at one special theater in Brooklyn. The Regal Cinema at 3907 Shore Parkway in Sheepshead Bay, Brooklyn. This UA affiliated theater is offering Summer Movie Express for only $1 per ticket.

The featured movies certainly have kids in mind, with such favorites as Despicable Me, LEGO, The Iron Giant, and more.

Each week of the summer two different movies will be shown on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, beginning at 10am. For instance, on Tuesday and Wednesday, July 3rd and 4th, kids and their parents can see The Lego Movie and Alvin and the Chipmunks. The following week on July 10th and 11th families can enjoy Sing and The Peanuts Movie. And so forth until the last shows on August 28th and 29th. That’s nine weeks of great entertainment without breaking the bank.

As if that wasn’t great enough, part of the proceeds will be donated to the Will Rogers Institute. So not only are you having some quality time with the kiddies, you are also helping a worthy cause.

If the Brooklyn location is not convenient, the same package will be offered in Staten Island and in Nanuet, New York. Check here for more information.
