Family Fun Activities This Month

Now is the perfect time to get outside and enjoy some fresh air before the summer heatwaves arrive. With Mother’s Day recently behind us and Memorial Day approaching, here are some great ways to enjoy yourself and to enjoy our beautiful surroundings.

Lower East Side Festival of the Arts Street Fair: This will take place from May 24-26 and will include more than 100 performing groups from the Lower East Side.

Movie Under the Stars: On May 25th, you can catch a showing of Back to the Future in Forest Park. Enjoy the nostalgia and share the movie with first-time viewing kids.

Fleet Week NYC: Show your appreciation for our men and women in blue with the U.S. Navy, U.S. Marine Corps and U.S. Coast Guard’s celebration of sea services in Hells Kitchen.

This is a tiny taste of the vast array of activities taking place this month in the New York area for adults and families. Learn more about your opportunities and have a great time outside. Incidentally, for those who love bird watching, this is worth a read as well.
