A Long Island couple hit the jackpot – literally – and claimed their $162 million Mega Millions jackpot on January 4^th.  Trying to avoid the usual press that accompanies such a win, they drove up to the state lottery office in Fishkill to claim their amazing prize.

This prize, which will come to about $100 million after taxes, is the most that any Long Islanders have ever won.  Nice going!
