Leslie Odom Jr. Returns to The Room Where It Happens

Original ‘Hamilton’ star Leslie Odom Jr. announced that he will return to Broadway this fall, reprising his Tony Award-winning role as Aaron Burr! This limited 12-week engagement will run from September 9 to November 23, 2025 at the Richard Rodgers Theatre.

The return coincides with the show’s 10th anniversary on Broadway. Odom has not performed as Burr since leaving with much of the original cast in 2016. “Returning to ‘Hamilton’ is a deeply meaningful homecoming,” Odom stated in a press release, calling it a chance to “revisit this brilliant piece that forever changed my life.”

After his departure from ‘Hamilton,’ Odom built a successful film career, appearing in movies like ‘Murder on the Orient Express’ and ‘Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery.’ He also earned an Oscar nomination for his role in ‘One Night in Miami…

His Broadway return follows his recent performance in ‘Purlie Victorious,’ which earned him a Tony nomination and concluded in February 2024. The limited engagement this coming fall offers New York theatergoers a rare opportunity to see an original cast member return to the groundbreaking musical.
