A Foodie Peep Show for Valentine’s Day

If you’re looking for a wild, pre-Valentine’s Day activity, this is the one for you. Today, February 13th, only there will be a speakeasy experience for foodies at Dekalb Market Hall from 11am-9pm. To be honest, we aren’t really even sure what we just wrote above, or what a speakeasy for food looks like – but here we go trying to explain.

Behind curtains, participants will enjoy tasting windows where they will have small bites of food that re created by a CookUnity chef. There will also be, in the words of reporter Emily Davenport, “private booths featuring food porn peep shows where the chefs will prepare a tasting in under 45 seconds.” Each of the chefs that has been invited brings his or her own background and specialties; guests are invited to come through the experience multiple times so that they may experience different foods each time.

It’s called the Valentine’s Day Peep Show, presented by CookUnity, and it certainly sounds like a fun and unique way to enjoy the upcoming holiday. No reservations are necessary – just come with an empty stomach and a sense of adventure!
