What we are experiencing is pretty much what climate change models are predicting for the east coast--greater and more intense precipitation. It only makes sense that in the winter months that would mean more snow. And in the summer all we need to do is look back at June 2009 when the rains were endless.
So what does this have to do with Gowanus? More sewage spilling from our sewer system!
And how is the city planning to address these effects of climate change?
