Enjoy the Brighton Jubilee Today

It’s that time of year again — the Brighton Jubilee is today from 10 am to 5 pm. It will take place on Brighton Beach Avenue, going down towards Coney Island Avenue to the Boardwalk, and you definitely don’t want to miss it. Presented by the Brighton Neighborhood Association, this year marks the 36th year of the Jubilee.

It is the Brighton Neighborhood Association’s only yearly fundraiser and it will include entertainment, merchandise, kids’ rides, food booths and so much more.   The Jubilee draws over 125,000 people every year and is dedicated, as they write on their website, to “bridging the communication gap through the international language of music.”

Events at the Jubilee include: participation by the Brooklyn Nets, an arm wrestling competition from the New York Arm Wrestling Association, music from Frankie Marra and Neptune Jam and so much more.
