This is Luna Park in Coney Island 1906. It burned to the the ground in a spectacular fire in August, 1944.

    How fun they should rebuild coney island to look like this again. It’s magical.

    Yes, yes, Brooklyngirl, I said yes. Everybody wonders what to do with Coney Island? I say make it the Colonial Williamsburg of Carnies! Reproduce Luna and Dreamland down to the last detail except for fire code and accessibility stuff. It would become a world-class destination overnight.
