McBrooklyn points to a story in the Eagle about the hotel planned for Degraw Street between 3rd and 4th avenues, noting that the developer says the property will be operated by Choice Hotels, “the worldwide franchiser of Cambria Suites, Comfort Inn, Econo Lodge and others.” There’s already one Comfort Inn in Gowanus, as well as a Holiday Inn Express, and a Fairfield Inn is under construction on Butler and 3rd Avenue.–McBrooklyn
