The Straphangers Campaign has rated the L Train the best in the system (and the W as the worst). “The L was rated particularly high for its regularity of service and the quality of announcements; the line, which runs from Eighth Avenue in Manhattan to Rockaway Parkway in Canarsie, Brooklyn, has seen its tracks and cars replaced in recent years.”–NYT
