The Giglio statue was carried back and forth on Havemeyer Street yesterday as part of the 121st annual Feast at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church. The Giglio lifts (yesterday and next Sunday) draw very big crowds. There will also be a “night lift” on Wednesday.
