Root Hill Cafe on 4th Avenue and Carroll had its second weekly open mic event last night. Performers over the past couple of weeks have included singers, comedians, a magician and a harmonica player. The coffee shop is holding the open mics every Monday starting at 8 p.m. Check it out.
