This handwritten sign comes from the Carroll Street Bridge over the Gowanus Canal and was placed in our Gowanus Lounge Photo Pool. As it says, “I dislike drinking oil.” For the record, oil is seeping into the canal near the Union Street Bridge and is partly responsible for the oily sheen floating on the surface sometimes.
