Of the Burg, it says: “Williamsburg is where the hip kids hang - we all know that by now - converging en mass each weekend to hit the late night scene.” Of Soho it says: “Soho was hip before Williamsburg was born.” Long lists of shops in both, if one ignores the implication that Soho’s fate awaits the Burg.–amNY
